Cara Membuat Partisi Baru Windows 7

Membuat Partisi Hardisk dengan Tools bawaan Windows 7 Ultimate

Hardisk merupakan media penyimpanan Non-Volatile (media penyimpanan permanen atau data tetap tersimpan sekalipun arus listrik terputus). Saat pertama kali kita membeli nya kondisi hardisk masih kosong dan belum bisa di isi dengan data, untuk bisa mengisi data tersebut sobat perlu mem partisi (membuat bagian-bagian ruangan Terpisah dalam media penyimpanan sebuah Harddisk). Bisa dilakukan dengan dua cara pertama mempartisi pada saat pertama kali kita melakukan installasi Sistem Operasi dan kedua setelah Sistem Operasi terinstall.

Banyak software yang bisa digunakan untuk mempartisi hardisk seperti Minitool Partition Wizard, EaseUS Partition Master, Paragon Partition Manager, Parted Magic, GParted, dan masih banyak yang lain nya. Partisi terbagi menjadi 3 pertama Primary (direkomendasikan untuk menyimpan sistem operasi. Biasanya partisi primary berada pada drive C), kedua Logical (dikhususkan sebagai tempat penyimpanan data. Biasanya berada pada Drive D) dan ketiga Extended (partisi yang membatasi antara partisi primary dan partisi logical).

Selain menggunakan software partisi yang banyak tersedia, untuk mempartisi hardisk bisa juga dilakukan dengan menggunakan tools yang tersedia pada Sistem Operasi Windows pada bagian Disk Management “cara cepat masuk ke disk management ketik diskmgmt.msc pada Run”. Sistem Operasi yang digunakan adalah Windows 7 Ultimate, langkah-langkah nya sebagai berikut : 

• Masuk ke Control Panel
• Masuk ke Administrative Tools,
• Masuk ke Computer Management
• Masuk Ke Disk Management, tunggu beberapa saat, selanjutnya akan tampil sejumlah drive yang sudah di partisi, dan yang belum (unlloacated).
• Untuk melihat apa saja yang bisa dilakukan pada hardisk yang belum terpatisi sobat lakukan klik kanan pada drive yang sudah terpartisi, muncul pop up menu disana sobat bisa membuka partisi/masuk ke windows explorer, mengatur Path Partisi (C, D, E, dst), Format Partisi, Melihat Kapasitas dll.
• hal yang paling penting adalah membuat partisi baru (sesuai dengan judul bahasan), cara nya klik kanan pada drive yang belum terpartisi (unallocated), muncul pop up menu (banyak pilihan) diantaranya disana sobat bisa membuat partisi baru (New Simple Volume).
• Muncul kotak dialog Welcome to the New Simple Volume Wizard, Klik Next
• Muncul kotak dialog Spesified Volume Size, Maximum disk space (maksimal kapasitas yang belum terpartisi), Minimum disk space (secara otomatis terpartisi) dan Simple volume size (ini merupakan kapasitas hardisk yang harus kita atur). Setela serilmu.blogspot.comdiatur klik Next.
• Muncul kotak dialog berikut, pada Assign the following drive letter pilih Drive yang di inginkan (akan menampilkan drive yang belum terpakai, pilih salah satu), klik Next.
• Muncul kotak dialog Format Partition, Do not format this volume (tidak memformat), Format this volume with the folloeing settings (File system à pilih NTFS/FAT32, Allocation unit à biarkan default, Volume Label (ubah nama Partisi), Perform a quicq format (celkist à agar pemformatan dengan cepat, tidak ceklist à format lambat), Klik Next.
• Muncul kotak dialog, Completing New Simple Volume Wizard.
• Tunggu format partisi sampai dengan selesai, baru sobat bisa menggunakan partisi tersebut untuk menyimpan berbagai file.
